Shippo stand with flower spikes for ikebana Kenzan
The Kenzan is a tool used exclusively in the Japanese art of Ikebana flower arranging to attach flowers to a container. It is an iron base bristling with spikes to which rods are attached.
The term kenzan literally means mountain sword. It was popularized by the Moribana style of Ikebana.
Shippo is a similar tool without a spike but with holes for attaching the flower dome art
