For over 300 years, this company has been brewing sake in the Yasugi region. It was in 1743 at the end of the Edo period that Yasuya Sakamise obtained official approval for the Hirose domain.
Artisans consider sake to be an important part of Japanese culture because it has brought people together since ancient times. The Hirose Estate's patented sake brewery is located in the Yasugi City district, a mountainous area with a lush natural environment. It is a fortified town surrounding the remains of Gassantoda Castle.
