Bancha is made from green tea leaves from summer harvests. Porcelain balls heated to 300°C allow roasting which reduces bitterness and develops woody and amber flavors. It comes from the prestigious Uji terroir which produces the most renowned teas in Japan. It has been the subject of meticulous care from the orchard to your cup.
